Larian Studios Forums Beyond Divinity (English) Help/Tips/Tricks ACT III - book for Cytha

In the temple area, I recieved a quest from Cytha the witch to get a book for her from the Ranaar library in the ruins area. I went to the library and stole the book - having to kill the Ranaar librarians (unfortunately), but when I go back to Cytha she does not accept the book and keeps asking me to retrieve it. I presume this is some bug or have I not done something I was supposed to???? I do explore a lot so I may be solving quests in the wrong order ????? any help would be great!

Sorry to hear about yor problem but I just now finished that very same quest and had no problem with accepting the Book. Are you sure you have the right book?

Try dropping the book on the ground, and then have your hero pick it up again, and see if that gets Cytha to recognize that you have it.

i had a problem with the same quest only she was conplayning about the rats <img src="/ubbthreads/images/graemlins/smile.gif" alt="" /> and did not even talk about the book <img src="/ubbthreads/images/graemlins/disagree.gif" alt="" />

IIRC there is a manuscript or something on the floor in Cytha's house. Picking it up or reading it should get her talking more.
