Sorry, Jvb if I made you feel unhappy.
Just wanted to see what people think on this idea and maybe Larian guys expressing their opinion also and not to make this fallout2 perks and traits discussion.

It is worth it. I've only bought them a few weeks ago. It took me a wile to figure out the best choise of weapons and perks depending on the char and for the game. It always has some new supprises IMO.

i heard you can force special (unique) random encounters, but never tried it, because had the game uninstalled and didn't want to play it once more at that time (had finished it 2nd or 3rd time
Well, talking about if Fallouts are worth money... Tactics aren't as good as "Original" two, and original two are so cheap today, that they are DEFINATELY worth money, if you a an RPGer... because graphics are a bit "old", if you know, what i mean... some FPSer would thrown it away 5 seconds after instalation.

Heh, think he's referring to Brotherhood of Steel
Critical Strikes would be nice. Amongst Baldur's Gate, Fallout, and Planescape methods for criticals, I think I would enjoy BG's method best in a game such as Divine Divinity; ie, a mob going below -10hp reduces it to chunks of meat splayed across your screen
I think the game is too fast-paced when it comes to combat to best make use of criticals as were done in Fallout and Planescape.

Oh, i loved Fallout Tactics. Unfortunately it wasn´t as deep as the first two but still a lot of fun to play. I liked the realtime/roundbased customizability.
And... just keep discussing the fallout perc/skill/fight issue. You can never know who is listening...

To raise replayability, developers should think about making mobs respawn.
Random locations will be tough to implement, as there is no travelling on map feature in DD. But, it is possible to bring random encounters - you can never know where in the dark forest will you meet walking lost hobbit who has that unique mithril dwarven chain-mail and that elven sword And to be fair, it also will not be *random* as you can search through 100 % of dark forest in half an hour. There should be random map generation to bring random encounters

Egin has a good idea! U would vote for that, but what kind of critical hits could weapon make?
But still thats a GOOD idea!

Depending of the lvl of that skill, it could make some bonus to dmg. Even 2x, 4x provided it is ballanced with other skills.
