Here is a chance to vent your everyday life frustrations!
Ok so seriosly, automated phone systems...
Step 1: Press 1 for English
Para Espanol (something like that 2 think) Numero Dos
Step 2: If you know the extension of the office or person you are trying to reach please enter it now.
Step 3: Wait
Step 4: For issues pertaining to X, Y, or Z, press 1
For issues regarding A, B, or C, press 2
(at this point to keep myself from gettin Carpal Tunnel we will pretend it only goes to 2)
Now lets pretend we wanted option 1 cause we were interested in Y
Step 5: If you are calling in reference to ______ try our new automated system, bla bla bla. Wait...If you need information on X press 1, if you need information on Z press 2 (trickey eh, changing the order incase you jump the gun) if you are interested in Y press 3.
So you press 3 (after redialing because you thought Y would be 2: repeat steps 1 - 4.)
Step 6: If you would like information on existing Y press 1, If you would like information on cancelling Y press 2, and to open a new Y press 3.
Step 7: We will now transfer you to the appropriate office...ring...ring...ring...ring...
Step 8:
Voice Mail This is the Y cancellation office we are currently busy or playing with ourselves please try your call again later.
Step 9: Smash phone through top of desk

And dont even get me started on this new bullcrap where its still automated but it asks you for a verbal response so you sit there like a retard talking to a machine that cant even understand you so you have to repeat the word "Yes" eighteen times while everyone in the office/home/whatever looks at you like you are talking to chimp. What a great idea, such a boost for the social life!!! Its really unfortunate that there isnt a way to make the phone/server on the far end explode! <img src="/ubbthreads/images/graemlins/eek.gif" alt="" />
At least when you get the run around from people you can yell at them!
