Aaaaaah.... this post is cursed! I've tried several times with two different photos and they display to begin with and then vanish. Maybe they vanish to the same place all the posters did..

3rd attempt with different picture

I'd say it's an gigantic condome, like seen in one of the "Naked Gun" mobvies with Leslie Nielsen.

Maybe I should leave it that way - the blank space fits the caption quite nicely!

Not sure what hapened there. It displayed Ok when I did the post preview, and when i first posted it. But now it's gone...

Second attempt:

EDIT: Now I can see it in both posts?? Sorry about this.

Now it's gone again.... and then returned...hmmm...

let's try a completely different picture instead

I can see it now: dancing skeletons. (Nice caption btw.)

Thanks for the confirmation. I don't know why the other ones steadfastly refused to work. Maybe some sites just aren't suitable to be linked to? The one I tried to use was a rather surreal 'headless bodies' picture from a clothing manufacturers site.

Macbeth, your picture reminds me heavily of the old "Mystery" stories (Edgar Allan Poe for example) and sort of original Sherlock Holmes ones.

Yeah, I love that nineteenth-century gothic atmosphere.

I'll post the winner on Friday. That gives you 2 days to come up with more pictures.
