Your desktop resolution is not always your game resolution....

You can check / change your resolution by :

Clicking start > Programs > Larian Studios > Beyond Divinity > Configuration

This little utility will allow you to chose a resolution for the game.

After that, Apply your chosen settings and close the untility. Then run the game and see if its better.

You can also play at other than supported resolutions, by editing the config.div file (in Notepad or another text editor). At 1152x864 (if you set the game resolution the same as your desktop resolution) the border around the auto-map will not line up properly, but that is just cosmetic. This is what I did, since I found the text a little small at 1280x960 and I wanted a bit more visibility than 1024x768. At too much higher than supporter resolutions, though, opening the auto-map can cause the game to crash.

BTW, the inventory and skill window hotkeys are toggles, so if you hit 'I' or 'S' a second time (without selecting a different character) it will close the corresponding window.

Thanks Raze...It was set at 640 x 480 so I set it to 1024 x 768 and it works good

Hey, not fair

The inventory screen is still too big IMHO. Why are there not separate tabs/dialogs? If I go higher than 1024x768, the tiny things on the ground and text are a bit small. I am not about to buy a 30" and get serious neck-injuries for my efforts, or should I?

Start out poorly to begin with, that way when you get the hang of it and jump the leader they get a bigger surprise.

I like the integrated inventory, though it would be nice for the next game if it was separable, configurable and/or sizable independently of the resolution.
