Under sad circumstances she has to give up on the internet and asked to tell you that she won't come back and can't be joined online anymore.

Looks like I can stay online, the reason I had to leave and maybe still will leave, is that some creep has been hacking my computer and he used personal stuff against me to send to my husband. Mails that have been arranged to make them look like I was having an affair and stuff like that.
We could trace that person back, I couldn't send him replies or anything. He even treatened to destroy my husband with his hate to have me for him, he thinks we are made for eachother.
If that person would even know me the slidest, he would know I wont ever fall for someone that uses hate, I live by the threefold law of wicca.
I decided and i had to convince my husband, not to shut down the internet cause of soe creep, I wont let that guy take a part of my life away and every one I got to meet here and everywhere else.
So guys, you are not rid of me yet, keep hoping though <img src="/ubbthreads/images/graemlins/biggrin.gif" alt="" /> (just kidding)

Go to the police, if you haven't already. Malicious hacking, threats, harassment and stalking are illegal. They should be able to track him down and deliver a reply for you. <img src="/ubbthreads/images/graemlins/evilgrin1.gif" alt="" />

Is the creep flemish/dutch?
It's unbelievable that some people don't have anything better to do then creating virusses and spamming and hacking other people's computers.

And completly format your computer it is the only way to be sure the hack is gone. And don't do like I did when I had a virus and after the format I restored the backup.

on the otherhand the computer is evidence so I wouldn't format it just yet.

Gal, I'd seek out good friends, I mean people who know about computers, as allies.
Also, if things get worse, I'd simply call the police. I don't think these things could be taken lighthearted.

And, by the way, I'm quite relieved that your house didn't burn down, as I had feared ...

anyone here who knows about hacking? Backtrace the freak and Hack him back. Possible arguments:
We will call your mother
We will alert the cops
I'll cut your f*cking head off, you freaking b*st*rd, i'll destroy you! (ummn, sorry, got a lil of track)

that would work but if it is some what a a clever hacker the pc that did the attack is one that is also hacked. so you could just be hacking back some one who didn't know he was hacked.

little question: did you have a firewall, did you update windows. If both answers are yes you are dealing with an experienced hacker otherwise it is most likely a script kiddie.

here at home every pc is guarded with a software firewall and a router / firewall that locks all ports except the necessary ones.
