Bought today and installed several times to try to get to work, all my drivers are up to date, just get "could not initialise graphics card" or something similar at least??
Looks like they have major problems after reading thru their forums!!
Anybody else got the game and having similar woes??
Another game for the top shelf, for the moment at least <img src="/ubbthreads/images/graemlins/down.gif" alt="" /> <img src="/ubbthreads/images/graemlins/down.gif" alt="" /> <img src="/ubbthreads/images/graemlins/down.gif" alt="" />

Think there's supposed to be a patch out by now <img src="/ubbthreads/images/graemlins/winkwink.gif" alt="" />. No wait, it said SOON out... So, if you wait a little it should not be a problem hopefully.

But releasing BETA in the box is by far too common today <img src="/ubbthreads/images/graemlins/disagree.gif" alt="" />.

Übereil

PS When you get it to work, wouldn't it be too much of a problem to tell us what it's like, would it? <img src="/ubbthreads/images/graemlins/smile.gif" alt="" /> DS

I've played the demo, and I really can't say I was impressed. It's clearly a Diablo clone with better graphics - but a tiny inventory and no town portal scrolls.

i'm finished the game in epic-mode and had no problems.

@elliot
you get many additional bags to enlarge your inventory (180 free slots).
you don't need a town portal scroll, simply activate the first teleporter in the town and you can open town portals at any time you wish by pressing the "L"-key, then select your active teleporter and enjoy your travel. you can select and travel to any active teleporter you've found.

I don't know a thing about the game but ... does it have some sort of config tool accompanied ? Or a config file you can read and edit ? I think that could bring in a clue.

However, suchg error messages sometimes stem from a totally different sorce, originally, and have been cumulated or so, just like a "silent post". So, I can't really tell.

You could perhaps try if there are drivers you could update ? Or the game does an copy protection check (burners, emulators etc.) ?

Excellent, thanks <img src="/ubbthreads/images/graemlins/smile.gif" alt="" /> That would remove most of my problems at a stroke, I must admit <img src="/ubbthreads/images/graemlins/smile.gif" alt="" />

Spick - are you sure your graphics card is supported by the game? I know it seems like a silly question, but it's the only thing I can think of...

What does this mean... [color:"yellow"] As a reminder, integrated graphics and graphics cards without PS 1.1 capability are not officially supported. [/color]
I have a Radeon 9600 graphics card with up to date drivers but the game still don't work!!..What is "PS1.1"

Spick, are you playing it on a laptop? If so, there have been a number of issues with Radeon laptop cards. There are some third-party video drivers from Omega Drivers that have helped me in the past.

No Handy I am trying on my home PC, do you think it's worth a try with the Omega drivers anyway?? <img src="/ubbthreads/images/graemlins/think.gif" alt="" />

It's worth a shot. The only you could lose is time. Come to think of it, have you updated to the latest official Radeon drivers? Even if you have, keep a copy of the official drivers handy incase the Omega Drivers cause any problems.

Realise that Radeon will not support your video card if you use third-party drivers. Unless the card spontaneously combusts, this won't be an issue.

Bang up to date with drivers for Radeon , 6.6 catalyst drivers from ATI.
I noticed that the Omega drivers are up to the equivalent of 6.5 Catalyst drivers, any problem with this for me??

nah not problems, I heard the card get a little hotter with the omega drivers but I didnt notice it with mine, actually I don't even see the difference between omega and official drivers other than not needing the acc on the official drivers.

As to the topic, sorry can't help you there buddy, also the game crashed on me sometimes, I noticed my gpu had 103 temperature o_o, that was the problem(Beyond Divinity had the same prolem with crashing at 90 for some reason, I tough it was SF until I realized it was overheating probs . fixed it by opening case and puting a fan next to it, most games don't go past 67 now.
