I'm going to ask here, since you all are gamers.

I played the demo of Sanitarium and thought it looked good. It's an older game but I am pretty sure the demo was in 800x600.

I just picked up the fullversion for five dollars and can't seem to get it out of 640x480. There is only one patch for the game but that has nothing to do with resolutions. To improve the game graphics in options it just shows you some brackets [ and by adding more [[[ I am guessing is the resolution change.

It doesn't seem to work, so has anyone ever played this game?

Those brackets are actually a performance slider. Changing it duriung the game doesn't seem to do any thing, but if I quit I won't be able to start the game again. The only information I have found on the net is someone running it in 800x600 with desktop settings.

by then a thought my monitor max resolution was 800*600 <img src="/ubbthreads/images/graemlins/smile.gif" alt="" />

did you changed the seeting of your monitor to 800*600?
sometimes you find a .ini file in the installation folder.
Try to open it with wordpad, and see if you cn see a resolution , change it to 800*600.
it's just a suggestion.
