Larian Studios Forums Beyond Divinity (English) General Blackout bug in bd.

Hmm Seems like the bug that plaged dd is back in bd <img src="/ubbthreads/images/graemlins/disagree.gif" alt="" />
Not played the game for a long time as i think dd is a lot better,anyway i decide to give it a go,and soon as i go underground to map that area out the black bug appears.
Now i was lucky to save it just before it happend,and theres noway to fix it within game.
The small map is ok though strange.

I do have the latest patch in as well,so is there a way to fix this,as it dont happen all the time.
I hope dd 2 dont suffer with this prob.

Also it`s not my comp,as it`s a knowen bug within the game.

Is this in the battlefield or the main game? There is a know problem in the BF that the fog-of-war sometimes gets reset, but it should clear again in relatively large blocks as you continue exploring.

I was in the training grounds just killing monsters and open chests when it happened again.
The full screen goes black,but the mini maps ok.
I can still get the chars to walk round,but i cannot see where there going,unless i look on the mini map.
It`s kinda annoying,when you have opened up a big part and not saved it when it happens.

Spoils it for me tbh,just no get up and go to play it if it keeps doing that.
Also happend in the barracks as well,just walked up to a monster killed it screen went black. <img src="/ubbthreads/images/graemlins/disagree.gif" alt="" />

If you double click on a character's portrait or use the screen re-centre hotkey, does that get your characters back on screen?

Will have to try that when it happens again.
