Hi, I'm new to this forum and I've got one question. I recently picked up this game after a 2 year break and started playing, only to realize that my level 28 mage has quite possibly the worst skills ever. period. 5/5 lockpicking and 4/5 summon skeleton for example.

Is there any cheat or way of re-selecting all my skills? I know that the permanence is supposed to add replay value, but I'd much prefer the World of Warcraft approach of paying a few gold for your mistakes.

So anyway, is it possible either via a cheat or by meddling with some code?

thanks.

It is possible to redistribute your skill points using iZakaroN's SaveEditor (or from Kiya's site, with description).

Maxing Lockpick is not a bad idea (though you can get 2 free levels by joining the thieves' guild).

Yes thats true, I guess i'd say its a bad idea based on my play style though <img src="/ubbthreads/images/graemlins/smile.gif" alt="" />

I also had meteor strike maxed and it seems kinda weak in terms of damage and also its accuracy (in my opinion, i could be wrong), although it is very very cheap to cast.

Anyways, thanks a bunch. I'll check both of those things out.

I didn't use very many mage skills, but you can check out the following topics for advice on which spells are considered effective.
