You have missed the Games Convention and the accompanying buzz.

I'd say go over to RPGWatch, wheRE you can see the latest news, including a bit that is currently discussed in the thread "Release date" above in this forum.

There's no need to fear, he's just a figmentation of your imagination! Lets try some stupid magic from an even stupider movie: "RIDICULOUS!"

It's from Harry Potter, Alrik. In the third book a monster called a bogart is introduced. It's a multiform, which manifests into the one it attacks whorst fear. The way to beat it is with laughter so you imagine it as funny as possible and do a spell with the madical word ridiculous. If done good enought the bogart goes away.

The films might be silly (I have a hard time NOT seeing them as silly to be honest), but the books (at least the first three or four) weren't.

Ah, now I understand.

And I think I've heard of it already ...

I've only seen the first 3 movies, and by THUNDER I never want to see another one! I've never read any of the books, and I don't intend to!

The books are way better than the movies. I only saw the first two movies. The third was on TV here in Sweden a while back. I stopped watching after 5 minutes...

Good for you! Don't finish it, it gets really corny. The problem is, I never got ahold of any of the books, and I don't really like the setting! Oh well, different people have different opinions.

That I started reading Harry Potter when I was 13 might have been the major reason I liked the books so much. But I didn't like the movies (the first one was ok). They didn't resemble the books well at all IMO.

They ARE children's books though (well, children under 20 at least ). They're not overly sophisticated, and there are tons of holes in the setting and stories. But there are some nice ideas and story twists in them IMO, so they're not a complete waste of time. Especially not if you're too young to spot the holes.

And IMO the important thing is wether you like them or not. If you like them, there's nothing wrong with that. I'm not a fan of elitism based on taste (I have good taste, and since I don't like that book it is a bad book, and everyone who enjoyed it is therefore idiots), and I therefore try to avoid it. Not that I'm allways good at avoiding it, mind.
