So no new info that stands out or pics as of yet rolleyes
I wonder when the people who said they'll take photos will upload them?
Hope somebody outside of the community recorded the demo.
Thanks though

Already I have seen many beautiful elven maidens, eight terrifying orc warriors, one Skeletor, two ghostbusters (both Venkman I think), zero tron guys, and a stunning vampire sorceress.

You have yet to face the terrifing morbo!! (and prey you never shall)

Gosh!
What´s your problem, actually? [Linked Image]
Well, i know of course, what your problem is, but still - a little patience, padawan!

The RPC has just begun like what, a few hours ago today?
The visitors from the community are probably still enthralled by all the wonders faced to them,... some very likely have arranged for a few meetings with friends in person they might not have seen for a long time... or a few workshops/events definitely planned to attend... maybe they´ve just run into the unlikely opportunity to get hold of some dev, author or other official to squeeze info out of regarding the object of desire.

So after all, it appears a little hard on them to expect the first thing to care about is loading up any photos to anywhere.

"Always two there are, a Saturday and a Sunday..." biggrin - so as i said, patience please. cool2

We´ll almost inevitably be in for a flock of news, bits & pieces and also photos from the event later in the weekend.

For the time being let´s just grant them all the fun to have they´re in fact entitled to.
They spent the money (with a few exceptions around wink ), took the hassle of longer journeys, many of them.

So, let´s just wait and see,

Ragon, the empathic Mage

Not that i´d be aware of, not for div2 (just read a lot on Risen and about the workshop for dtp´s follow-up to recent intl. release Drakensang).

But Alrik posted his first impressions from the initial day later on, albeit only here at RPGWatch, also briefly touching div2 amongst others.

The interface seems very different from Divine divinity one... think

I hope to see more polished UI screens soon...

i haven't played any of the divinity games so the UI doesn't really matter to me =)

Hrm. I must admit I'm a little put off by the inventory. One of the things I loved most about the original was that there was no real limit to the amount of items you could hold based on an arbitrary number of squares/slots, only by weight. It was unique. However, there do seem to be a lot of squares (and is that possibly a scroll bar on the side), and multiple pages like before, so I'll assume for now it is not much of a hindrance. Either way, I love seeing new content so thank you very much nemisis_dragon!

About the quality of the photo: the game was presented with a beamer on sceen. The majority of the pics I'll post today look like this, but I'll try to explain the parts you can see there on the base of what the presenter Claas said.

On the upper right you have different columns which show different type of items the player can carry during his adventures. There was a column for weapons, armor, papers, potions and something else I forgot. The inventar is now rasterized for each item. Some items had during the presentation placeholder graphics. If the mouse hovers over one item, it displays more information.

On the left you can see the character and it's wearing. If you can turn/rotate/zoom the character there isn't sure. Below this part, lower left corner: no idea smile

Important: it was mentioned MANY times that this GUI is NOT the final one. Same goes to everything I'll try to describe, based on my personal impressions, later this day. Of course with more shaky cam shots smile
