I've tried to use the search, but I couldn't find any topic regarding the digital distribution.

Will Divinity II be available on Steam? It's really hard to find retail games in South America, only the major companies public their games here, and most of it comes 4-6 months after the release.

I don't think digital distribution has been mentioned at all for D2:ED. Presumably that would at least be partly up to the publisher, but no English publishers have been announced yet (or non-German publishers, for that matter).

Beyond Divinity is available for download (from GamersGate) and they mentioned DD was in the works (though that was awhile ago), so Larian at least isn't opposed to the concept.

Divinity is available (The German-language version) through Metaboli, whatever this is.

Metaboli is just another digital distribution provider. The german version of D2 can be downloaded in less than 15 hours and can be pre-orderd at DTP.
