Hi,
I have found Orobas corpse in the catacombs but I can't tell Jedediah about it.
All he says is 'Where is Orobas, is he not with you' and all I can say to him is goodbye.
Is the quest bugged or have I missed something?

I have the exact same problem and also with other bugged quests i think its broken .I think it could be todo with the chest in there because i only got one chance at the riddle and it wont let me try again.

I did the riddle, but there was nothing to do with the quest in there.

Arh ok well it seems the quest itself is bugged then .

I'm going to play the same record here as I did in the other topics: if you are playing the German release with English text, you may run into problems that the German version does not have. The locale setting is not as easy as it seems sometimes.

We will look into what you said there, but the chances that it's being caused by the fact that you tricked the game into thinking it's English are high.

No ForkTong I dont think so because some german people also got the exact same problem with the german version of the game.

For some people it got solved by loading an older savegame, for some by picking up the Drudanae out of the merchants garden, instead of buying it from him. Try this 2 things out.

morgwin: No problem. When it doesnt work for you, you can do the other quests, that is just an optional quest with no quests following (though the scene is really cool when you complete the quest xD).

Just as a side note does this quest stop me from finishing the game ??.

It is not part of the main quest line, no.

watch next patch FUBAR the german to english translation and anything else people are conceivably doing to play illegally.

Erh i dont get you ,illegaly okkkk so you mod your car or buy bigger speakers for your stereo is that breaking the law no it isnt,importing a nissan skyliner before they were released in the uk is that breaking the law no ,so stop bieng a stupid little child and grow up,people will wont things and people will import or buy to get them befoe they are out in there country,they are not breaking any laws if someone wants to spend money and buy something from another country and then alter it,it is not illegal,so grow up,is it illegal to sell a game that has bugs in it ??,is it illegal to sell a brand new car thats faulty ??,i think you have a lot of growing up to do,the world isnt perfect and never will be.Lets just be happy with what we have and stop trying to make other people do what WE think is correct.

It's not illegal if you purchased the German version, but the patch might stop it from working, intentionally or not.
