Larian Studios Forums Divine Divinity (English) General So I spent over an hour decorating my house

The one you can buy. Did anyone else spend alot of time decorting thier house, or do I need help. <img src="/ubbthreads/images/graemlins/biggrin.gif" alt="" />

I honestly have not had this much fun in a game since Fallout.

I so much wish I could tell the Larian Stuidio people THANK YOU for a damn fun game. <img src="/ubbthreads/images/graemlins/smile.gif" alt="" />

Actually, I think pretty much everyone at one point in the game decides to decorate a house. Doesn't have to be the one you can buy.

I decorated a house in Dark Woods. Won't say which one, because that would be a spoiler. But I got rid of all the garbage, dumped it somewhere in the forest, and got decoration from all over the world. Urns, pots, flowers, plates, chairs, knives.

It's just a shame I couldn't get rid of the spiderwebs...

I decorated the cursed Abbey and later the Imps Castle. I found that you could get a really cool effect if you put some emeralds or rubies on those spiderwebs. The gems kinda glow and it really looks cool on the webs.

I thought I might need help too, then some kind person dug up an old thread on the old forum. There were some great ideas, but I don't want to give any spoilers right now. <img src="/ubbthreads/images/graemlins/smile.gif" alt="" />

Ofcourse you could always replay the game, but this time, clean the garbage out of EVERY building, and throw it on one big heap.

But then that heap is just pollution... hmm... Maybe you could dump the garbage at that brat (wassname?) Janus... <img src="/ubbthreads/images/graemlins/silly.gif" alt="" />

And then yell at Janus <img src="/ubbthreads/images/graemlins/silly.gif" alt="" />

God I hate that boy...

I stole Janus' throne. Looks nice in the Deserted Imps Castle. I do like the idea of dumping all my garbage in the throne room of Stormfist Castle though. Use the teleporter pyramid trick.... That's evil. I LOVE it!

He irritated me so much I spent the entire time I was in Stormfist trying to loot the place. I took everything that wasn't nailed down, even if it wasn't useful. Spoilt brat!

I don't think we are supposed to like Janus. I mean in the end something pretty awful happens to him.

I think the Larians should'be added a special feature for people who finish the game:

Being able to play the game again, but the time with new special stuff in it, like for instance when Janus tells you that you have to work for him for 40 years, you have the ability to say "Bite me..." <img src="/ubbthreads/images/graemlins/badsmile2.gif" alt="" />

LOL! I'd like a script where you can take Janus on the knee and give him a good, long-lasting spanking. Anyways, I decorated the humble little place in Aleroth, where I started from. I dunno, I sort of feel like home there, but I can't find a way to put some items on top of the tables, and those damn lovely candle holders just refuse to come off the ground, it's infuriating. I think I will propose to Larian to make the candles and holders moveable if there's an expansion or anything. <img src="/ubbthreads/images/graemlins/stupid.gif" alt="" />
