Hey, in quest The Prophecy when i have to choose from 2 alchemists I read that Allan isn't alchemist, that he is a liar. Is this true?

From what i gathered Allan is not the choice...

They just had different side quests only. And different personal brew.

I played through and i chose Allan cause the other guy was a bit of an arrogant **** lol But i wasnt sure what Allans brew did tbh, though i rarely even had to use the alchemist since by the end of the game i was practically brushing my teeth with health and mana potions id found

Allan's side quest will required quest item which can be used for gaining extra skill/stats points. If you choosing barbatos over him, you can use the item for yourself and still complete the quest.
