I bought my copy of divinity 2 in a shop not far from the french border, thus i've gotten myself a french version. Is there any way, like with a patch or something, to turn it into an english one? The shop is to far to go to (bought it while on holiday) so i'd need some help here. I've also tried to search for translation packages but haven't found one yet.

Well, you can try to unpack MainData* dv2-packages and check if it has english dialogs/quests/books. In this case it is possible to change language.

Then you're out of a luck.

Food for Thought:

1) ALWAYS buy games in a language you understand.

2) Never try using any hacks to change the language as copyprotection systems like Starforce, Tages, SecuRom, etc, will detect a language hack and corrupt the game files after a period of time.

3) Try to return the game for a refund or sell on Ebay and then buy a copy in the language you understand.
