I get shot twice by Amadusias in maxo's temple and I'm dead. Whats the trick?

He uses Explosive Arrows. It helps to be a level 15, because at level 15 is when a lot of helpful skills like Healing, Regenerate, Thousand Strikes and Explosive Arrows unlock. Take any armor and dexterity potions you have, and run away and heal after you take your first hit.

If you can survive, it might be helpful to close to melee range so he pulls out a sword instead of using explosive arrows on you.

Help on Killing Amdusias. Any tips would be nice.

the easiest way to kill him I have found is get the vial of blood and the second book from the librarian(sp), run out and get the dragon scales, as soon as you have the scales jump behind the blood altar and hit the "I" key go to the inventory and find the book, and read it, find the spell and turn Amdusias back to human form, stay as far back behind the alter as you can, don't worry you can't fall, use Magic Blast on him to kill him

Leveled up t0 15 1 magic blast and 1 magic missile and he was toast.

what if u got rid of the book and what spell u got to use on him to turn him human again

You can not get rid of the book; it goes into the quest item section of your inventory. Did you find the first book already, in the locked chest downstairs from the bedrooms? The key for that chest can be found upstairs.

That book contains the spell Amdusias used to turn into a dragon, and is the one the Librarian is looking for. Return it to the librarian to get the second volume (containing the counter-spell). Read the second book to cast the spell to turn Amdusias human, assuming you have the ingredients (which it will list).

when i fought amdusias, i hid behind the ridge in the path to lure him closer, then pulled the sword of arben on him. u want to stay as close to him as possible to keep him from firing arrows.
P.S. if you're really lucky, and jump at just the right time, u can jump over the arrows so they dont hit u. i still dont understand y arrows in divinity II r heat seeking.

Given the speed arrows travel, if they didn't seek their targets at least a little you would never be able to hit anything at a distance that wasn't either standing still or moving directly at you.

dudes when i killed him i only new what spells to use from a walkthrough on youtube andrusinas up close knows fear which can make you run off so that he can kill you
