war heute positiv überrascht, als ich das Divinity II Addon in den Händen hielt. Natürlich gleich installiert, nur habe ich extreme Darstellungsfehler der Schrift in Flames of Vengeance. Es werden anstatt von Buschstaben nur Rechtecke angezeigt. Das Hauptspiel läuft bei mir problemlos.

Hm, hast du die aktuellen Grafiktreiber drauf? Wenn ja, probiere dort die Einstellungen mal durch. Solltest du eine ATI Karte haben, könntest du mal mit der Catalyst AI herumspielen. Standard, Erweiter oder Deaktiviert...

Ich tippe auch auf ein Graphiktreiber-Problem.

habe eine ATI Karte - Radeon HD 5870 Eyefinity. Grafiktreiber sind aktuell (Catalyst 10.7). Das Ändern der Catalyst AI hat leider auch nichts gebracht...

Probier mal die Catalyst Profile zu installieren. - Findest du auf der ATI Seite.

was für "Profile" meinst du? Gibts da nicht nur Crossfireprofile für spezielle Spiele?

Genau. Das ist ein Profilpaket dass es wie gesagt auf der ati Seite gibt. Diese Profile bringen aber auch was für System die kein CrossfireX nutzen. Einen Versuch ist es wert und schaden tun sie sicher nicht!

We're a bit surprised by the speed with which the game was released, thinking it would only come out tomorrow.

We'll start proper support monday, but with the little German I understand, I gather you're having issues with the font rendering ? If that's the case, could you perhaps tell us if you have your font zoom level at larger than 100% on your desktop ? If so, could you try putting it to 100% and see if you still have the problem ?

Sorry ... aber das is looooooool... Nun wundert mich auch nimmer warum einige Händler net wirklich wissen wann das Spiel - äh Adoon - raus kommt.

my understanding in english is the same as your german, i think. But my front zoom level is at standard (100%). In the Main Menu i only see this:   instead of "New Game" or "Load Game" etc. and the Background is black. The Gamelogo is displayed twice. In the Main Game i have no such issue.

Also noch mal Deutsch:

Desktop ist auf Standard eingestellt (100%). Im Spiel selbst sehe ich im Hauptmenü nur diese komische Zeichenfolge " ", wo eigentlich "Neues Spiel", "Laden", "Optionen" etc. stehen sollte. Des Weiteren wird der Hintergrund nur schwarz angezeigt und der Schriftzug "Divinity 2 Flames of Vengeance" wird doppelt versetzt angezeigt. Im Hauptspiel wird alles normal dargestellt. (liegt wahrscheinlich an den Engine-Verbesserungen??)

To obtain a dxdiag report, please follow these steps:

1. Click on the windows icon
2. In the "Start Search", type "dxdiag" and hit enter
3. The tool will start. Now click on "save all" and save the information to a file
4. Attach the file the email you send to support@larian.com

wie mach ich denn einen screenshot? Wenn ich "druck" im spiel drücke und es in paint einfüge, erhalte ich nur ein schwarzes Bild...

Ok hab gegoogelt ^^

Nimm notfalls das Proggramm IrfanView, das verwende ich auch sonst.

Bei mir funktioniert das mit Paint übrigens, daher kann ich an dem Punkt nicht weiterhelfen, was das Machen von Screenshots angeht.


P.S. : Ist es möglich, das Add-On nochmal neu zu installieren ? Oder die Installation zu "reparieren" (taucht manchmal als Option in Installationspprogrammen auf).

Vielleicht ist ja bloß die Installation nicht in Ordnung, vielleicht wurden ja die Schriften nicht richtig installiert.

Anyone who is having this problem, is in either one of these situations

- you have installed ED at some point, but deleted the physical data from your drive. This leaves the registry settings from ED in your computer. If you then procede to install FOV, the installer will think you have ED installed and only install FOV files into that directory.

- you have installed ED in a directory but moved or changed that directory. FOV will install to the old directory path.

in both cases, the problem is that the game is starting up only on Flames of Vengeance data. No Ego Draconis data is present or can be found by the game.

This is easily resolved by first installing ego draconis, then installing flames of vengeance on top of it.

ich habe eine metaboli-DL-version des spiels, und nun funktioniert dieser fix nicht mehr. beziehungsweise werde ich nach der seriennummer gefragt, die allerdings nicht mehr funktioniert, da ja ED durch FOV verändert wurde
