I'm really enjoying this game so far. I'm on my first play through and just hit level 10.

I am curious about loot drops, however. I very rarely get one. Is this normal? Seems rather odd for an RPG.

Yes, they're quite rare. I'm not sure their rarity is that unusual, and I find it quite refreshing compared to the likes of Oblivion where I find it hard to stop myself lugging around loads of useless detritus to sell for money I don't need!

Most loot, in terms of armors, weapons and jewelry, are found from chests, boss drops, quest rewards and shop npcs, not random mob drops.
