I picked to free the bad guy and I killed him and the lady. But where was Damian? And what happened between killing them and the celebration where the divine walks out with the good guy wizard. And what is with the cat? I'm still a dragon it looks like but what happens now? I feel like I'm missing something.

I expected like 10min of cgi animation ending with a cliffhanger since it's supposed to be a saga.

are there elves? do we find maxos? what happened to belligar? will the slayer ever be turned back from stone? do I just live in my battle tower now watching someone dance poorly?

You killed Ygerna and Behrlihn, and even though you didn't kill Damian you DID save Aleroth and since Ygerna died, the Divine was freed. Not to mention, everyone now knows Dragon Knights are awesome. Thus the celebration. Damian may still be out there, but the world's odds just got a lot better.
