You can kill the chicken or do nothing. There is no way to herd the chicken to Casper, or otherwise get him help.

I'm not sure that it's necessarily an evil option; just one that isn't conspicuously good.

I don't think putting him out of his misery is that evil evil

Where did you even find the chicken? As for the "good" option, I suppose that would be just leaving it be but I agree, we ought to be able to tell him.

Lol !!!!...A chicken is a chicken....male or female..it's still a chicken.

A Hen is a female chicken.

A Rooster or Cock is a male chicken.

But they are both considered chickens...

^ The chicken in question is a white chicken found near some ruins between where you meet the guy and Lovis's Tower.

The word Chicken originally refereed to the offspring....the chick....not the species itself. Gallus gallus domesticus...a subspecies of the Red Jungle fowl.

Thought to have been originally domesticated in Thailand a thousand years ago...and until the industrial revolution was considered a some what rare delicacy, and only eaten occasionally. Eggs were the primary purpose of raising chickens at that time. The chicken itself was only eaten if it was old or no longer producing eggs.
Chicken production as we know it today ( raising chickens solely for meat ) did not come into being until the late 1800s / turn of the century.

Again..a chicken is chicken..male or female..it's a chicken.

Nuh-ahh! Males don't lay eggs; they're called roosters. Chickens are females. :p

I thought that was hens: chickens are the little cute fluffy yellow things that you can eat in a single mouthful. I dunno why the meat from a fully-grown, er, thingy is called chicken though.

I'm not convinced: it's more chewy than crunchy.
