I'm no computer whiz so I wouldn't know how to fix this:
Every time I load my 'warrior' game up there is always a message popping up that reads 'This program has performed an illegal operation and must be closed... How do I stop it?! I Havent been able to play for more than a week!

Even after trying out the following (see below), it still crashes?...

****

5) Problem: Random crashes
We have had a number of reports on random crashes. Most of these could be solved by doing one of the following things :

* Make sure all your drivers are up to date and you have the latest service packs and windows updates installed.
* Turn down the windows hardware acceleration of the sound driver down by one notch.
* Make sure the color depth of your desktop is set to 16 bits.
* Make sure the integrity of your files is not compromised by executing a scandisk.
* Make sure you have no other applications running in the background
* Make sure you have enough free hard disc space
* Make sure you have full read/write access to the folder where you installed Divine Divinity

---> You also might want to check if there is a file called error.txt in the run folder of the folder where Divine Divinity was installed, as it might contain helpful hints.

Thats all fine and dandy but... Like I said I'm not computer whiz and I don't know what 'Make sure the integrity of your files is not compromised by executing a scandisk' means. Ahh! Ow my head!

Just run the scandisk to see any if there is any problem..

start -> program -> accessories -> system tool -> scandisk

Why don't you just reinstall the game as I believe the .exe file is corrupted

Hope that will help as I Understand the frustation when you can't play your fav game due some technical porblem

Cheers

Will be getting my game this afternoon !!

Same opinion here.

In my brain.
