As the title says , where is this story line from? Is it from a novel series or something? and if this is part 2 was part 1 from the same story universe?
It's an original medfan universe, but with all the usual references (D&D, Tolkien,...). Divinity 2 is the direct sequel of Divine Divinity and Beyond Divinity, so yes it's the same universe.
