Hey, just a quick question.

When I look at a few different archer skills, the camera is zoomed in over the shoulder of the character playing. How can I use that view when using my bow?

I have tried pressing all the buttons, but maybe somehow I am missing it.

On the Xbox it's the LT on your Controller. wink

In my Manual (Xbox) I read about the LT :
Engage Lock Mode
If you want to concentrate on a single enemy, you can lock onto it by pressing and holding LT . This is especially handy if you're attacking with bows and/or long range spells. During lock-mode you can switch targets by nudging the R-stick sideways.

For the PC, sory, I don't know.

I have tried this, thanks for the reply though. All that happens when I hold LT is that I am locked on to a target. It does not zoom in any closer.

Oh well, maybe the Xbox version doesn't have this feature. Does the PC version though?

In the original release of D2:ED the camera distance was farther out, and using Target Lock zoomed in to about where it is is DKS; In DKS the camera distance is fixed regardless of Target Lock.

For the PC version of DKS, you could use the mouse to zoom the camera in or out (with the camera angle linked to the distance). I don't know if there were any changes to the camera in the PC version of DKS.

The videos displaying the skills can ignore cooldown times and other limits, so presumably the same is true for the camera distance.
