I played all Baldurs Gate series and did not need a forum, but I found these:

BG Forum

I hope they help.

I saw this thread and was going to post the Ironworks too. Its a good site Lews, and fairly friendly. You should be able to get any help you need, and they have good walkthroughs and links.

I was searching for that forum for a long time but all of them was dead.
Thnx goldylocks.
Im walking through this game again and this could help me in one mission.

And Lews
Try to do not use forums playing for first time.
Much more fun trying to do it yourself.
Especially playing BG2.
This game is worth Your every minute.
Have fun <img src="/ubbthreads/images/graemlins/wave.gif" alt="" />

Don't worry about it Lews, I hold no grudge or anything towards you.
Glad you like the forum, try to get through the game on you own first time through though. Good gaming to you.

It's a time ago i played BG 2, but the thing i liked about the game is that your party members interact with each other.

Some sort of Spoiler ahead.....

Later in the game you will find out that there are two womans who love you, so you have to choose with a dialoge who you like.
I think it was the chick you save from the circus and the other woman (elf) from BG 1.
It was really funny to hear them fighting about you now and then.
Damn i think i am going to install bg 2 and the expansion pack again.
I miss minsc and his rat <img src="/ubbthreads/images/graemlins/shame.gif" alt="" />

I have been frozen in my seat on many occasions not wanting to move my mouse for fear of what might happen next, I’ve heard sounds and voices so clear that I was becoming unsure if they were actually coming from the speakers

What's with Minsc and his hamster? His lines are funny the first few times, but then it gets really old really fast. I prefer his wychlaran a lot more. (Thanks to a certain trilogy of novels, I've developed a fond interest in the Rashemi. Minsc just... doesn't fit.)

SPOILER (correcting Darkfall a bit)

No, for a male PC, you have three options for romantic interests, not two. One is Jaheira - who's a half-elf, not an elf; big difference here; the other is Aerie, the wingless Avariel; the last is Viconia DeVir, the drow priestess of Shar. I find Jaheira's romance most likeable (despite being female myself), but I like Viconia too - both as a character and her romance. Aerie... Oh, how I detest the whining little brat! I fed her to the tanar'ri outside the Planar Sphere.

IIRC, as a female char there is only one romance (the arogant brad of paladin wanabe) i cant remeber his name now.

actually i had the most fun with a romance to Viconia <img src="/ubbthreads/images/graemlins/badsmile2.gif" alt="" />

??? I never noticed that there was any kind of romance going on at all! I must be the most oblivious person alive. I must have sped through that dialog sequence.

Mods fix that. Now we have tons of selections. Kelsey (the best NPC mod ever made, so far, IMO), Solaufien (I, sadly, don't appreciate poetry. But I like his character, all the same), Valygar, and probably others that I haven't been in touch with. Then there're additional options for males - Nalia, Imoen (yes, yes, I know she's your half-sister), Tashia, to name but a few.

Well... I think NPC interaction and dialogue are things that make BG2 as entertaining as it is. *shrugs* Oh, by the way, to initiate a romance, you must fulfill certain requirements. Viconia, for instance, won't romance an elf. Dwarves, gnomes, and halflings seem to be shafted, as well.

Anomen, was this arrogant snot - the first I chucked out of my group - but I let him live - only stripped him off his goodies. <img src="/ubbthreads/images/graemlins/devil.gif" alt="" />

I actually went through with his romance once.

Have you tried Kelsey? If he and Anomen are in the party, they'll fight over the female PC. Fun.

Kelsey? = Keldorn? (But he is married)
Name is unknown, not in the manual.

Winterfox, I wanted Haer'Dalis <img src="/ubbthreads/images/graemlins/cry.gif" alt="" /> <img src="/ubbthreads/images/graemlins/cry.gif" alt="" /> - but he only had eyes for this elven sissy Aerie <img src="/ubbthreads/images/graemlins/puppyeyes.gif" alt="" /> - no, unlike you, I spared her - but I had him disintegrated by the dragon <img src="/ubbthreads/images/graemlins/devil.gif" alt="" />
Kiya

and yes, Jurak - this must have hurt him even more <img src="/ubbthreads/images/graemlins/stupid.gif" alt="" />

NO Kiya. It is Kelsey. It is a mod made specially for that romance. So is the one about Sollifar (??).

OK, I don't play mods - just the original how the developers meant the game to be, thank you, Jolie.

That might be true for other games but BG doesn't need mods unless you have a twisted sense of "good". That game was badass.
