I keep finding various keys (silver, sapphire, etc.) inside the Battlefield dungeons. Are they for anything? I can't find a use for them, and they're still in my inventory at the end of each act.

The keys in the battlefield dungeons are randomly generated, and do not correspond to any locks in the main game. Any keys you still have after entering the next act you can discard.

That's kind of what I figured ... but do they correspond to anything in the battlefields? I have yet to find a use for one of those keys.

No, the keys in the BF dungeons do not correspond to anything in the battlefields, either.
