Has anyone tried using the savegame editor to jack up their stats to kill seth once the escort quest is finished to get the brightblade or is such a thing even possible? just a quick thought that I just had <img src="/ubbthreads/images/graemlins/think.gif" alt="" />

I didn't jack up points, but I killed him anyways.
well, the 3rd time I used the editor in the beggining and beat the game. if that counts.

Seth leaves once the escort quest is complete. It is possible to get him back (Reviving dead NPCs), but much easier to kill him before then. If you use Poison Cloud, you can kill him without him becoming hostile. Some people have used a Frost sword or Freeze (maybe combined with Curse) and attacked him directly, or a continuous barrage of Meteorstrike, etc.

This sword is random stats, maybe you get something good, in the general have Stun( ).

I find Stun is easier to buy. It has really low level requirements and is near essential in melee combat with bosses and biggies in my opinion.
