Larian Studios Forums Divinity - Original Sin Divinity - Original Sin - General Release Date

I've been looking through a lot of websites about Divinity: Original Sin and a lot of them seem to indicate that this game would be released Q1 2013. That's not true though. The reason for this would be this site:

For instance Wikipedia uses this link as reference for the release date. So the reason for this topic would be to get a new refrence for Wikipedia. So, when's the game coming out?

"When it's done." One of the things Larian has struggled with in the past is publishers running out of money and forcing them to finish up and release something, even if it's not as ready as they'd like it to be.

Now Larian is self-publishing, so they can take their time to make the best game that they can. Why would they lock themselves into an arbitrary release date now?

The release estimate is mid 2013, possibly Q2, probably by Q3.

That's all I needed to know. The point of this thread was to eliminate misinformatio, mainly from Wikipedia. Now I have a reference that I can use to delete that false release date of Q1 2013.

Note that this is no official information and subject of a change. They may even push it back to late 2013 or 2014.

As long as the Larian treasure vault lasts. Personally with 2+ games in development I doubt they can afford 2014.
Perhaps one in 2013 one in 2014 yes that might do.

Hell why am I even considering 2014?! I want those games as soon as possible! Come on devs! Show us what you can!

Well, Divinity II took much longer than was planned. Of course I hope for 2013 too.
