Further procedure:

Then just go to the ill soldiers, give them each one gem via speech option.

Collect your XP + spell from Goemoe and don't forget to read Otho's grumpy acknowledgement.

I want to know if the magic mirror can replicate the Cure Potion for the Dr. Elrath quest. That's worth a lot more experience (and I know you can Pickpocket for it, but I don't like that).

There is a book in one of the cabins in aleroth, i think it was the one where you find the magic mirror, that details how to use the magic mirror and how many times you may use it. You can use it only once and then it will break once it has duplicated the cure stone or whatever it's called.

I think that it's a cop out that it can only be used on the Healing Gem. It says it can duplicate anything.

Nope, read the magical book screenshot: can duplicate certain magical gems. (First sentence there).

One is in the game - but the mirror can't duplicate anything, just certain magical gems, my post was referring to this. Did I misunderstand your sentence? I didn't know what a "cop" was <img src="/ubbthreads/images/graemlins/shame.gif" alt="" /> (cop=police, but this didn't make sense)

A "cop-out" is when you avoid doing something because it's too hard.


I understand about the mirror now. I was just being smart with that last post.

I have a question <img src="/ubbthreads/images/graemlins/rolleyes.gif" alt="" /> I've been lazy to read this book where the mirror is explained (i'm reading everything but only that book missed <img src="/ubbthreads/images/graemlins/suspicion.gif" alt="" /> ) and i'm 13 level Survivor, and I missed to cure the two soldiers <img src="/ubbthreads/images/graemlins/disagree.gif" alt="" /> they are now gone...is there still a chance to cure them or they are already missed XP <img src="/ubbthreads/images/graemlins/smile.gif" alt="" />

Once the soldiers are gone, the quest can no longer be completed. You needed to drop the mirror in a pool of water deep enough to cover it (the large puddle just south east of Goemoe's house), then drop the gem there.
