what does it mean to have a charm quality of say 3 and are the charms the rubies and emeralds i find the charms they are talingking about like in Diablo 2 (like where an emerald did posion damage etc) ?

Charm quailty of 3 means there are 3 spots to place charms.The jewels you find sell.The charms look like round balls ,that will say diffrent things.[like fire or cold resist] Hope this helps you. <img src="/ubbthreads/images/graemlins/smile.gif" alt="" /> You can find them and sometimes buy them. <img src="/ubbthreads/images/graemlins/delight.gif" alt="" />

The charms are very helpfull in the game.
They give you more strength, or more vitality, or a better resistance to poison, etc.
I used them a lot.

Uhhmm,seem to recall also on the old forum someone[Raze?] had a trick to be able to use more charms on a item than you were suppose to be able too.Just can't remmember it. <img src="/ubbthreads/images/graemlins/silly.gif" alt="" />

Before the 1.33/1.34 patch, if you clicked on an item with a Charm Quality multiple times, it would open multiple charm panes, and you could place a charm in each, then close them all. If the list of charms went off screen when you moved your mouse over the item, it could cause the game to crash. With the latest patch, clicking on the item a second time closes the charm pane.
