I used to cheat often, but that were singleplayer games. Now I only play mutliplayer online, I'm co-leading a CS clan we want to get far, I find Online gaming more than just something to do to pass the time ... but that's another topic.

So i voted use to cheat often, tought you forgot the d in used. but If I could have 2 choices, I would also choos. Potatoe, Hot potatoes!

Hello Drag

With single player games i do not cheat, i can spend hours searching a strategy to win.
But when i am playing games like Monopoly or "Litle horses" with my family i use to cheat constantly !
I never try multiplayer games online.
Sorry if i forgot a "d" somewhere

I only cheat when I'm bored and it's not going to spoil the game. I'd do something like raise my Constitution to something rediculous so I didn't have to worry about dying and could concentrate on levelling.

i like to cheat by any or all of the below-

extreme life/mana
extra stat points
unlimited money

if i die too much or always have to keep running away to heal, the game isn't fun for me. i also like to make a super character after i've finished the game and whoop major [nocando].

I cheat when I have the feeling that the level of difficulty prevents me from having fun. I want fun, not a challenge.

I fear that often games are too hard, and even an editor at a german gaming mag said that devs should get down from their tower, into the lower regions of those who don't know every bit of their game.

I guess that's partly a reason why for example Z did not sell so well, and that has alrerady been admitted by the Bitmap Brothers in some sort of interview I remember.

When a game is too easy some people have no fun.
And when the game is too hard some other people have no fun.

The developpers should make the same game with several levels of difficulties really different.
For Divinity, apparently there is 3 levels of difficulties but they are not really different.

It would be great but may be too expensive.
It's why the developpers prefer to give cheat codes to the gamers, it's less expensive.

I believe it would not make sense to create so many difficulty levels, because most of the games are easy/difficult enough with 3 different levels.

Cheat codes are something many gamers (unfortunately) want and therefor most of the programmers give this opportunity.

Cheating SUCKS...

In the case of Star Wars Starfighter, I know I'll most certainly never be able to get all missions into gold status. So the "unlockment" of special missions and spacecraft is not possible for me. In this case, I'd like to see the possibility to get them through some kind of "cheating".

Just an explanation.

By the way, too easy spoils the fun as well, I have to admit.
