I put one point into the skill repair, and it only works about about 1 out of every 4 times I put on the game. I am wondering why the hell this is happening. It would save me a lot of money if the thing just worked, but it refuses to do so. I would wonder if someone can enlighten me and tell me why this happens.

The first level repairs up to 60% (rounded down). If you had an item with a durability of 8, you could only repair it to 4/8; if the durability was at or above 4, repairing it would have no effect. Is this the problem, or is it not working for things at less than 60%? What happens when it doesn't work, just a drop in mana?

How do I use repair?

Well my problem is that I have a shield that has a max durabillity of 10 and it is currently 3. If I have one point into repair it should bring the durabillity to a 6 / 10, and it fails to do so, it does nothing, it just sits there at a 3 / 10 until a few days later, my repair skill randomly works, and it goes to 6 / 10. I just find it a bit odd, and it is becoming an annoyance. Wouldn't you find that odd if that was happening to you on your game, and yes, I lose A LOT of mana trying to repair, I shouldn't have to waste over 100 mana until it randomly works on one item. I think wasting 100 mana or so a lot for just repair. Also, few random questions here because I am still learning and picking up on all this. What does it mean if an items title reads yellow (goldish), reads green, reads blue, or reads gray. I felt so proud of myself yesterday, I took my crummy character, and wondered into this intense orc encampment, with a bunch of elite orcs, I never faced like 10 elite orcs at once, it was rather exciting. I beat a bunch of them, leveled a good deal, and found a few gold charms =:Þ

If you try repairing equipment in your inventory or on the ground, does that help? Some people have run into a crash problem with Repair, but found unequipping items first made it more reliable.

The colour of the name indicates the relative quality, though there is some overlap.
From low to high; white, grey, blue, green, yellow, gold

Question: What exactly do you do to repair?
Do you select the repair skill and right-click the item?
Or, do you select the repair skill, right-click to activate the skill, then left-click the item?

I remember having problems with this because I couldn't co-ordinate my clicks! Larian, if you hear this, can you please make RiftRunner so that you just need to right-click the item (like my first example)?

Oops. I should have pointed that out. Thanks, darkjedishadow.
