Survivors and assassins should wear black leather or black cloth.
I like your Mage armor idea.

pretty nice, shyon.

regarding survivor/rogue class armour, although we won't see any class in RRR(i'm sure of this), nobody's stopping us from dreaming now, right?

anyway, for survivor, armour shouldn't be of normal defense rating. let me rephrase that; armour for survivor should have different kind of defense, not the ones for absorbing considerable damage. rather it should enhance evading skills of survivor & with shadow effect. shadow effect here means if the survivor is engaged in combat in dark areas, he/she will have higher evade ratings & most melee/ranged hits will miss. plus, shadow effect renders the survivor better defense ratings by making him/her ethereal(constantly shifting between dimensions) which can be pulsating vulnerability.

with that, survivor/rogue can be a lot more sneaky.

Yes, that's what I thought. Add dexterity or something.

Nice dragon! I am sure I couldn't paint like that in photoshop.

Isn't finished, i just made the lines with Pen tool.(Head Dragon)

I think i'll do a better animated version in flash, when is ready i'll show it here.

For the lightning dragon(most harder) i used a ruined mouse on my work computer and the Brush tool, i designed it in something about 4 hours.

Pen tool, is a little hard to use correctly but with pratice you can obtain more precision in your designs.

Flexible lines.

Hi Myrthos:

Thanks for the links and all that follow it. First one had 5 add ons and second was only 3.

God grant me the serenity to accept the things I cannot change, courage to change the things I can and the wisdom to hide the bodies of those I had to kill, because they pissed me off.

How about collecting things to make your own special armor? Say add a build skill or blaksmithing skill or something like that? That would be cool since the game is so interactive anyway...

I get the feeling things are getting way to complicated ...

The logic behind armor is that: Good armor is made of a strong kind of metal, but this kind of metal is heavier too ... so that's the reason why good (metal) armor should have a strenght requirement.

But what about an intelligence requirement? People who want to concentrate on magick will probably put points in intelligence ... So maybe there could be a simple cloth tunic ... but with a special kind of spiritual armor on it. It doesn't weigh much because it's made of cloth, (so no strenght requirement) but a warrior with a head of wood will never figure out that this is a special kind of tunic so he can't wear it (an intelligence requirement).

You could even go further (but maybe not good for gameplay). In there were special pieces of armor with special bonusses like strenght + 2 or with a certain skill bonus. I guess just identifying such an item is not enough to use it, you need some intelligence too. So maybe only chracters with a certain intelligence can use such pieces of special (enchanted?) armor. That way a magick character can still have some benefit from investing in strenght ...

Just some ideas ...

That would make sense. You need the magical intuition (Intelligence) to tap into the armour's inate powers. Good thinking!

Thank you , I hope maybe a Larian catches a glimp of this, it would mean another chance in the entire CRPG scene , it hasn't been done before ...
