I agree to Ancient Evil <img src="/ubbthreads/images/graemlins/up.gif" alt="" /> - and I don't care if an Overlord is genderneutral, it doesn't sound like that <img src="/ubbthreads/images/graemlins/tongue.gif" alt="" /> <img src="/ubbthreads/images/graemlins/tongue.gif" alt="" />

Overlord is perfect and the system Draghermosran offered is good for me as long as customisation is not allowed.

Some people hate when they are allowed to chose.
I am not of those.

Och... what are we supposed to do now? <img src="/ubbthreads/images/graemlins/winkwink.gif" alt="" />
Let's put it this way: we are looking into it (rat and I) but I'm not really pro it, the fact that you can have your customized title.
Is there a vote already? <img src="/ubbthreads/images/graemlins/smile.gif" alt="" />

cool. page 5

Should users with 1500+ posts be entitled to write their own titles?
No, it should be based on the classes Larian provides.
Yes, as long as it fits with the theme of classes.
Yes, you should be alowed to write anything (not offensinve) for your title.

Well, I've made up my own titles ... just a try.

I don't consider them very good, but at least they are a start.

And what if people come up with a ... nasty title?
Then I have more work <img src="/ubbthreads/images/graemlins/winkwink.gif" alt="" />
Or maybe rat can solve this, dunno, just wait.
In the meantime you can of course continue discussing your titles <img src="/ubbthreads/images/graemlins/smile.gif" alt="" />

For people who choose the "Vampire" race (is there something like that, or is Vampire just a title ... ? anyways) you could use the titles of Vampire: The Masquerade, a "tabletop" RPG (but more just a RPG).

Fledgeling
Neonate
Ancillae
Elder
Antedeluvian
Cain (well, there's only one cain so I guess nobody will reach this ... let's say 1000000 posts or something <img src="/ubbthreads/images/graemlins/biggrin.gif" alt="" /> )

Custom titles will be to much, or everyone can choose a title or there is a ranking syetem, both or a combination are to much.

actually lord is both male and female, lady is more the counterpart of knight os overlord ...

Btw we all know some evil creatures overlord are female, Like dragons have a Queen like wasp's do so have many evil races, but this is fantasy and it's not like somethings are impossible..

anyway those 2 last alternative rankings are great.

It's one of these days...

Are you sure about that because it sounds rather ... ludicrous to me <img src="/ubbthreads/images/graemlins/smile.gif" alt="" /> ...

Overlord = Hermaphrodites? <img src="/ubbthreads/images/graemlins/evilgrin1.gif" alt="" /> -

Ancient Evil or Antediluvian sounds nice, shows age, eternity and immortality in a world without silver missiles, wooden stakes and garlic <img src="/ubbthreads/images/graemlins/biggrin.gif" alt="" />
Kiya

<muttering under her breath> But Death Dragon is easier to write <img src="/ubbthreads/images/graemlins/shame.gif" alt="" />

I haven't heard most of these "Vampire" Titles ever. I wouldn't be able to understand them, if I saw them in the first place.

Can someone explain them to me (especially the last ones) ?

Antediluvian explanation, click here

Nothing to do with vampires in the first place IMO, just a description, to show old age <img src="/ubbthreads/images/graemlins/winkwink.gif" alt="" /> - IIRC used in the biblical sense, not sure though
Kiya

Hmm, and I only know Overlord from a strategy game, faint memory: Starcraft? <img src="/ubbthreads/images/graemlins/ouch.gif" alt="" /> <img src="/ubbthreads/images/graemlins/think.gif" alt="" />
