Larian Studios Forums Divine Divinity (English) General Next patch??

I have been gone for some time now and was hoping of a release of a new patch when i come back. I searched the forum and could not find any information about an upcoming patch. When is the next patch comming, we have been promised one. There are still several show stopers to bugs that are need to be fixed. I have been owning this game for some time now and still not been able to play it properly. Pleas Larian fix this ASAP or you will risk of loosing your reputation and i is one of them that will think twice before buying another of your games if this is´t fixed soon.

Upgraded Patch

Since the last Patch (Vers. 1.0034a) there are only a few, insignificant Bugs in the game. No "big story Bugs" or sequence breaker. I don't know why you crying for a new patch. <img src="/ubbthreads/images/graemlins/confused.gif" alt="" />

If I were larian, I would never release a patch if everyone asked as 'nicely'*cough* as you do.

Who are 'we' and when did they promise another patch?

Yes i have patch 1.34..

There are still several bugs, irritating show stoppers. Broken skills, Male warriors magicly gaining 2 skills on reload, ect, ect.

What are your probelms, maybe it is a technical problem...not a patch problem.

And, nobody promised anything after 1.34 anyway that i have read.

Been nice several times before and after patch 1.43 now i begin to be upset.
After 1.43 was released there was several pepole (not just me) reported several reproducebul bugs and was promised a patch for a few of theese.



Nop is reproducebul bugs, (as i wrote above) broken skills, male warrior gaining skill ranks upon reloading, ect.



First of it's not just my 5 comps.. I know several pepole that have bought this game and have same bugs and several others on this board also had the same problem just after the 1.34 was released. Noone of those i know that own the game are 100% satisfied with it.

Just to check make a new male warrior save and reload notice some thing strange?? Yes they have 2 skill ranks to mutch. Just my system *bhaa*

There was a version of 1.34 that, yes still had bugs ect. It has been stated that some of these has been fixed by the upgraded version. You have that?

I know there was a big discussion as to some things not being fized, and IIRC these were some of the expertise skills.

What show stoppers? True Shot and Crossbow Expertise are still broke. Everyone gets a second free level of Sword Expertise and Augment Damage, but characters other than the male warrior have to put the first point in themselves.

While I certainly sympathize with anyone who has problems playing Divinity and hope the Larians release a patch that fixes everything, I do not know of any game that works perfectly on all systems.

*hits head* I KNEW I forgot something before uninstalling DD last week! I wanted to try Crossbow <img src="/ubbthreads/images/graemlins/disagree.gif" alt="" />.

I think Mordan has been here before...aurguing with people about this.

You and i hade been discussing this before Barnabus and i do not agree that borken skills are just "appearance". AS we discusst before is there two broken weapon skills (not all that i first believed. You presonaly hoped that they would fix so there would be an error message if one tryed to aply the patch while not beeing admin). There is a weight bug - errors in recalculating weight, so the char gets encumbered suddenly and loses items. Disappearing chests are another anoying bug. True Shot is also another buged skill.

Amazing! It looks like you constantly bump in every bug of the game at once.
Your quest items are in dissapearing chests, you're overencumbred but your inventory has just dissapeared and all you have is a bow with Crossbow Mastery which doesn't work and called shot. Poor guy!

Yes i have and Barnabus and i located the problems that time few was bugs (that still need to be fixed) and some was that i was not loged in with admin rights while aplying the patch, witch should have generated en error message (bug also but there is a acceptable work around for that). The bugs we located is still not fixed.
