Dragging one item to another item results in the items swapping place OR being combined via the crafting system. This has been pointed out again and again on the forums as being an utterly horrible system.

The latest problem im having with it - dyes. Im trying to dye a robe, but the only way to get the dye to interact with the robe is to be wearing it first. Wearing the robe requires having a high intelligence since its classed as a mage item. If none of your mages have crafting, you appear to be shit out of luck for dyeing the robe.

Anyone else found this to be the case?

I can dye in the inventory, don't need to wear the armor to make it work.
But it require crafting skill to work.

How, just by dragging the two items on top of each other?

I must have been swapping them specifically because I didn't have the skill on that character. Such an annoying way of handling crafting.

I remember trying to dye things and it just swapped them. It took a couple tries before I moved the inventory and saw the "Not Enough Crafting" message in the background.

I also agree that I'm not a fan of drag & drop being the only way to craft things, instead of there being a UI to hold two objects you want to craft together.

You don't get it chimp, this is old school system. It makes sure it didn't take into considerations years of UI, ease of use, and smart features evolution of gaming gave us.

Back to the stone age.

Reading through all of your responses, it appears that you hate the game, that Larian betrayed you, etc.. etc...

Maybe it is just me, but if I hated a game and thought the worst of the company (EA for example), you wouldn't catch me buying their products and I certainly wouldn't be on their forums trolling.

So why are you here?

That he's not you, and he is willing to pay money for a game he doesn't like by the developers he hates.

Just saying
