Larian Studios Forums Divinity - Original Sin Divinity - Original Sin - General Companion Personality Disappears

I configured my companion as random at start up and worked fine for a bit. Now it seems to have reverted to no personality and I have to chose the options. It appears to be a bug but I am not sure when or what caused the switch.


Is there a console command to revert back to the personality choice or is it stuck that way for the duration?

I noticed the same thing.

Did you find a way to make it go back to auto responding without starting over?

The same problem happened to me. It seems exiting the game leads to your character/s loosing their personality. I've not found a solution to it.

Anyone know if there an accessible console like in many large RPGs?

soo it seems to me at least in my situation that it is case by case now... some things my companion will respond too as others I have to click for her... confusing haha

I have not come across any time since that the companion speaks for their self after the setting appeared to be lost. Wish I could turn it back on.
