Larian Studios Forums Divine Divinity (English) Help/Tips/Tricks Dialog hangup's

Greetings,

I saw several dialog problems was fixed in the latest patch (witch I have installed), but I still got at least two major problems:
-MPenzak cant get in to his head that I allready have spoken to the guard and nailed the perpetrator.
-Rob still awaits me to unlock the door in the cellar, even if he allready has given me an extra skillpoint for completion of the task earlier. The only task related answer I can give him is; "I need more time..."
Anyone who knows a way around this? The glitch stops too much for me.

Yes.. and I don't get the quest alternative from sir Patric (all I can do, is borrow money.. and I frankly don't need them <img src="/ubbthreads/images/graemlins/rolleyes.gif" alt="" />)

Yes, Mpenzak and Rob keep their speech options - don't click on them? <ducking>

Patrick: Did you get the quest to retrieve the Dragon Armour? If not, he won't have the side quest (Lucius)
If you have the quest: Did you click on the speech option: "Let's forget about it"? I called it a killer sentence, stops the dragon armour/Lucius quest.

Hi Kiya.

The only dragon related quest I got was for the dragon gem by the warriors guild (I had the gem with me when I spoke to him). I don't think I ever bid him forget anything.
As for MPenzak (you don't have to duck <img src="/ubbthreads/images/graemlins/winkwink.gif" alt="" />), the biggest problem is that I'm not getting the treasuremap. I have the other ones -and my questlog tells me to go treasure huntin', but then I guess I'll never get an upgrade for the silverarmour in the easteregg area <img src="/ubbthreads/images/graemlins/rolleyes.gif" alt="" /> <img src="/ubbthreads/images/graemlins/cry.gif" alt="" /> .
(When I think about it, I can't remember who I sold Rimmers ale to...)

Oops.. I see I have to wait for Sir Patric until I have spoken to a dwarf on some matters (if I get curtain things past his guards, that is..)
Seems though as the holy sword quest also is collapsed because of Rob's lacking response.

I don't understand, Morpheon. You stole the amulet and gave Rob his beer, you got the skillpt, you're a member now and you can't enter the thieves guild, the east door? <img src="/ubbthreads/images/graemlins/confused.gif" alt="" />

Mpenzak: How much maps are in your inventory, please?

Sir Patrick: Comes pretty late in the game, you have to have the council member quests first.

I know nothing about an east door, I thought Rob would give me the further quest's after I had become a member.
I only have three maps (cellroom, spidercave and sewerbody), but according to my questlog, I have all of them.

i had the same problem.
after i get the wine in the cellar i received the skill point. and afterward i still getting the options screen like Morpheon said...
