Walking around in the far out ice-land....

clicking in the distance to walk there :

BAM - falling down because of ice. waiting 10 seconds. repeat. repeat. repeat.

That is not cool out of combat, please turn this effect into slow....PLEASE...

You need to craft, combine Nine Inch Nails with any of your footgear.

You can also shift-click move and set waypoints, so you can set them so you won't run over ice, or at least avoid some of it.

You can also walk slowly, instead of running. "clicking in the distance to walk there" = running, which is not the safest move on ice.

The falling down on the game is so stupid and annoying. Does not feel immersive or fun or anything other than annoying.

Out of combat, if you go slow you shouldn't fall down. It's super annoying.

There are many solutions:

1)Tornado
2)Shoes with spikes (nails)
3)Walking around
4)Walking slowly

I love it. I just wish it would be more visible and that the characters would avoid it themselves out of combat like they do with traps, fire ground and poison ground.

Burn the ice into water?
(can't say if that works since I haven't reached said location, but it worked everywhere else so far)

Out of combat there's no reason for this to happen. Doesn't make the game any better.

Also, many times you can't tell if it's just water or ice.

Anyone know where I can get more nine inch nails, I've turned many into lockpicks, and shortly after realized lockpicks are pretty much pointless. You might need 5 the entire game.

Yep, I see no reason this isn't a thing. I would even understand it if the AI didn't automatically avoid the other traps. But since they do, them walking right into ice and no longer walking to their destination is kinda pointless.
