So I decided I wanted to change up my style and switch out my ranger hireling.

I go to John Smythn in the Hall of Heroes to hire someone new and find this new henchmen was missing about 6 attributes points. Everyone in my party has 39 points at level 9. Jahan and Madora have 39 points too, even though I stopped using them at level 3 when I found the hall of heroes.

As a test, I hire the exact same ranger I booted from my group. Now I have two of the same ranger. They both have the same talents, portrait, name, but the second "Erinaja Sanguinar" has only 33 total attribute points.

Did some quests give extra attribute points? And if they did why did Jahan and Madora benefit from it. I'm really confused.

any hired henchmen will be given the same amount of exp that the main character that you are using to talk to the henchmen vendor. But in order to do this, first dismiss the hired henchmen when you first get him ( he will spawn in the hall of heroes) then hire him again. He will now have the same exp as whoever talked to him (i think). So even if you store him in the hall of heroes and have a 5 lvl gap later, just talk to him again and he will be leveled up to the same level with the same amount of exp.

Yes I do that. But they are missing attribute points.

Like I said, my ranger, after I dismiss and re-add are almost exactly the same. Both are level 9, have same name, protrait, etc. But one has 39 attribute points and the newer one only has 33 total.

*Edit* I should edit and say that after dismissing and adding my new henchmens they get 3 attribute points I can add manually at level 9.

They are missing points from their BASE. Like my old ranger has 7 speed and perception which I never increased manually, but new ranger has only 5 starting base in both, along with less con and other things.

Ahhh someone halp me.

I really want to add a rogue to my party. But 6 less attribute seem really gimp. Is this not happening to anyone else? When you guys hire a new henchmen do they have the same amount of total attributes as your mains(once you dismiss/level them to your level)?

I've also got this bug. In the beta alsmot ALL henchmen were stats bug. Now few remains.
Also sometimes henchmen just disapeared from the hall of heroes, so don't let any valuable equipment on them, trait this as an alpha feature.

In my experience your first 2 henchmen you hire have regular base attributes, but after that they are nerfed by about 5 total points. I'd suggest using the custom henchmen mod to balance the stats out.

Well how do you fix a -10 base crit chance?

Seriously is this a feature? Nerfing the stats? Is this seriously intentional?

Tired of having to fix this stuff via XML files

How do I fix the -10 base crit chance?
