Talked to the two guards after the lighthouse, no option to tell them what I've found out.

What am I missing?

Did you talk to Samson?

Maybe you didn't talk to them beforehand? Go to an earlier save, do it again and then come back to us.

I can't go back to a save before I talked to them, but yes I talked to the two guards.

Then I found the chick first.

Then I found samson

Then I went back to the chick

Then I went to samson and they left.

Then I went to the guards, no new dialogue options

checked with aureous, no resolution there.

quest is on step that says "met ghost named samson... doesn't have anything to do with undead etc"

You didn't.
Probably a bug.

They're supposed to be able to run to the lighthouse and find a ghost (as one of the options), probably since they are gone now however they aren't allowing the guards to trigger, and the quests gets stuck.

Sollution probably requires additional content then, which with translations, well... you get the picture

I'm stuck in a different way.

I talked to the legionnaires (my journal is on 'We met two legionnaires...').

I went to the lighthouse, and killed the undead.

However, there doesn't seem to be anything in or around the lighthouse (no ghost appears), and talking to the legionnaires again just gives the same dialogue.

Have you used the trapdoor in the lighthouse itself?

Ah, thanks a lot. Can't believe I missed that.

I blame the camera angle for hiding the trapdoor.
