I like companions. In general I think the battles are more fun when I can control a lot of characters. I often let everybody summon a create as well so I control 8 characters in total. Fun fun.

Me personally with smile

I like party-based games immensely -> so glad to have a party of (at least) four here.

I've primarily played without, the companions available in the beta at least weren't very interesting to me.

While I enjoy the banter and ridiculous personalities of the companions, I absolutely HATE micro-managing. I can't stand to deal with the poor inventory management, and having to manage all 4 characters equipment and items between every excursion I take. If inventory management wasn't such a chore, I would consider bringing them along- but I have enough on my mind managing two as is.

My first playthrough was 2 lonewolves because I wanted to see how powerful one could get (that lonewolf talent was teasing me throughout my first attempt at playing the game)

After achieving practical invincibility I encountered a problem - out of hotbars for my gazillion skills! So now I'm playing with 4 and specialising them appropriately. As for the companions they do add more to the game I found and can't really see myself doing another lonewolf playthrough.

Unless I want to be a demigod again
