Hi,

I am standing in front of a burning surface. Within the surface, there is a key I need to obtain. So I tried rain, does not compute. I tried a fire resistance drink, does not compute. I play phoenix all over again. I tried to place a barrel on top, does not compute.

How on earth can I succeed here? Please help!

With high enough Telekinesis skill you can get the key without touching lava.

Thanks, I never updated that skill. How do you use it? Any other ideas?

Try equipping 2 +1 telekeneses rings (they constantly drop for me).
Should be enough for a key's weight.

Just STRG the Chest?

Lava can only be removed with Tornado as far as I know (level 10 air spell), but as someone pointed out - Telekinesis of 3 will net your key nicely (with only +2 it might take some luck/reloading to get it.)
