Well, I guess I goofed. I didn't join the Fabulous Five and now Mendinus won't let me. Will I be able to complete the find Evelyn quests without this?

Yes you will!! I never joined the Fabulous Five because....well...for one they seemed like plain morons too full of themselves not to trip over their own shoelaces and....well, I'm not going to spoil the next bit for you but you'll see how the story of the grand heroes turns out....bunch of god damn idiots.

The only thing you miss out on is a single side quest (Arhu's Failed Experiment).

Nope, did that without ever joining or asking to join the five morons.

Yes, you still do that quest when you run into it anyway, but without the Fabulous Five spin on it in the journal entries.

What I think you miss is, you can't trade with Anna if you don't join first.

You can trade with Anna, also without the fabolous five, maybe the Prices Change, I never test this.
