And they are remappable too, praise the Omnissiah.

Now if we get a functional Pause button and a lasso selection, I will name my first sheep Larian.

A Pause would be very nice. Small thing to complain about, but I'm self employed and get to play while not working. If a client calls, though, it's nice to have that not be an issue; normally, alt-tabbing out of a game will simply pause it and this isn't an issue.

I know, of all the things to have be a problem, right? :P

Pause does not actually need to exist, except for CLICKING ON THOSE DAMN RATS!

if you have the talk to animals skill, you can start a conversation with a rat and while it is conversing with you (ie, not moving) you can easily kill it with any of your other characters.

I kill every rat i see this way... after I get whatever info they have.

Which is why pause shouldn't exist. Rats should be hard to kill (while obviously not dangerous to you).

I find rats hard as hell to click on. I certainly fail 9/10 times when they are in motion. I have to wait for them to run to a corner, then spin my camera around to see them, and even then sometimes there is no camera angle that will let me click them. So I have to walk towards them so they run again, and hope they go somewhere my camera will let me click on them.

Damn you're vicious... Contact Guantanamo Bay, they're looking for recruits.

You know, there is an option in the game options menu for this...

I am playing with it unlocked. A few artifacts, but much more fun.

I'm pretty sure NPC's you talk to are invernable and can't be killed.
Did they forgot to do that for rats???

Wait, really? How'd I miss that?!

Edit: Ah, no wonder. It warns you of issues, so I'd left it on then promptly forgot about it. Unlocked; we'll see how this goes on my now-second playthrough.
