Larian Studios Forums Divine Divinity (English) Help/Tips/Tricks 2 quests I can't get rid of -- Wine and Tingalf

First off hi all, I met some of you in the Larian chat a couple days back.

I'm level 39..down to 3 quests on my quest sheet. One being the Wine from the guy in Verdistis...and the other being find out what Tingalf is up to. Well I've long since cleared the market sewer and found that letter and finished up all that, and I've long since gotten the wine off the ground in Athraberts room in the Ducal Inn. Neither quest will go away. I've returned to the wine guy and looked all over the merchants sewer. I'm pretty sure I broke the quests by doing certain things out of order. Any way to rectify this situation?

1- The wine quest :
To win this quest you have to possibilities :
You can burn the cart so Anthrabert gives you the wine for free, or you can click on Anthrabert sales window and buy the wine for a very small price.
If you pick up the bottle on the floor you fail this quest.

2- Tingalf quest :
You have to talk to the chief of the guards, i do not remember his name.

Ah yes, I picked the wine up off the floor. It never said failed, still lists it as normal though. Thanks.

For the moment the wine quest stays open, but when you will go in the Wastelands, the quest will get failed in the log quests.

also: before talking to him, talk to Trevor (at the merchant guild). There is another quest about Tingalf <img src="/ubbthreads/images/graemlins/winkwink.gif" alt="" />

Yes !!! I did not play the game since 6 months and sometimes my memory is bad.

I think this was my problem...I didn't talk to Trevor until after I had Tingalf rocked. So my quest is sitting there undone. Pretty sure I have every other quest done and am ready to finish up the Council of 7 thing..have all 7 assembled. The only quest I need to figure out before doing the Council is the treasure maps/breastplate.

I also had Tingalf arrested before going to the merchant guild, but after Trevor asked me to look into a suspected black market dealer, I had the option to say he had already been arrested, and thus completed the quest.

Trevor should have this speech option as soon as you're a member of his guild, got the Tingalf quest and speak to him after T. was arrested.

Forgot: you had 2 speech options for Lt Robin - did you use both?
