Weresheep bug

I spoke to the weresheep in the Cavern of Portals already and found the other clues, but no matter how many Stardust Herbs I drop by the Kickstarter tree, the weresheep will not spawn. Is this a bug? I'm playing the GOG version 1.0.81.0

I have this same exact problem. I have met all of the quest requirements and found the tree location - no matter how many or where I put the Stardust herb the weresheep does not spawn. (Steam version)

I too have this problem. Found all the clues. Drop a Stardust Herb, but no weresheep!

I am still having this problem even with the lasted update. Grrrrr....
