I think that either in Stormfist castle or at the barracks I found a royal sword with frost qualities and since then I have used this to defeat virtually everyone saving my scorpions for times when 10 or more were attacking me. I have set aside more powerful weapons because this sword outdoes them all in terms of quick kills with almost no loss to vitality. Have any of you had a similar experience?

Yes, I found that re-loading before you pick up the noblemans sword will change the status of it, so it could do 56-89 damage with lvl 5 deathblow, I eventually got a brilliant sword <img src="/ubbthreads/images/graemlins/biggrin.gif" alt="" />.

I got it before getting the 3 holy items and picking the nobleman's sword and I still have found the royal sword much better than the nobleman's sword. I even found a sword with deathblow (4) and other qualities but I stick to this one.

I had a Noblemans sword with frost, life drain and deathblow. It made the game too easy.
