Larian Studios Forums Divine Divinity (English) Help/Tips/Tricks IMPORTANT dragon armor bug post!!!

I experienced a bug w/ the dragon armor quest where sir <img src="/ubbthreads/images/graemlins/ouch.gif" alt="" /> pat. never gives me a quest for the breast plate. one other person i know of experienced the same thing. after having the dwarven smith combine the plate (wich i got using raze's cheat file) i noticed that he had both the plate and heart in his inv. for me to buy. i dont know if i could have bought it from him all along;but, if you have the same sir patrick problem...you might try the dwarven smithy's shop.

This is normal. After the dragon armour and heart are forged together, you can buy back the originals. This way if you don't re-load to get good equipment and end up with something crappy, you can still go back to the original. Also, the head of the warrior's guild does not recognize the heart of the dragon in the armour; if you get the armour forged before completing the second test, you can still buy back the heart to join the guild. Similarly, you can buy back the eye of the cyclops after the first warrior's guild test.

hmmmmm Good to know. Hope I dont encounter any difficulties. Already noticed I screwed up the silver breastplate quest by stowing all my ropes together not thinking they were of any use in the game. Gosh it is amazing
what I have found out the first time around. Hopefully my second character will have it much easier. So far so good. Gotta finish with my first though.

The ropes needed for the Silver Armor upgrade are available to you at the area needed. All the ropes you find around the world are not needed.
